(TV) Re: TV Digest V1 #495

Two days ago, I was going to write about how relieved I was that this list
has not been affected by the tragedy -- not that the members are not
affected -- but the list itself has not. Then I realized that I was wrong.
I have seen all the other lists that I subscribed to affected in a bad
way -- people have opinions without doing any research, without reading what
has actually been said, without paying attention to existing information
(and that comes from all sort of people with all sort of divergent
opinions). Please let's keep this off list -- it's really not the
appropriate place for this kind of discussions.

And by the way, the US is not an empire, and not "some of you is going to
die" -- all of you (and including me) eventually will.
