For me it was the mid-80s efforts advertising a crummy cereal bar with a 
badger. A Whoka-cHOKA chOUM.

I wonder if Verlaine has ever done any advertsing or endorsements, I somehow 
doubt it, but hey he has pretended to be a scientist so he's at least one 
step down that road.
