Hold on, you might be thinking of the AC30 top-boost models from 63 onwards, they had a channel that added some extra treble for that classic Vox chime sound.

Doesn't that Vox amp have a built-in "boost" effect? I can't remember if you
access it with a switch or through a separate input jack.
