Re: (TV) t rex/bolan

i'd defend this stuff to the hilt too though i actually much prefer the post
"Ride a white swan period" -there's plenty of great Tyra moments to be
enjoyed including off the top of my head "Jewel","Debora" and "by the light
of the magical moon" (which i've been known to cover live on occasion ) -
the music from that period retains a charm and innocence long gone in pop
music -makes me love MB all the more in fact....

and before you ask i like John's children too! hearing Desdemona on the
recent Nuggets 2 comp made me remember that Bolan was a hippie,a mod and a
rocker at various times in his career (and sometimes all at once on later
lps!)

with the release of both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings flix
imminent (can't wait) i also predict a huge renewed interest in pre 1970
TRex!!!! :-^

if only more pop music today was as ridiculous (and as entertaining as a
result)...as Adam Ant once sang "ridicule is nothing to be scared of!"
yowsa!
