Never been much of a "record jammer". I prefer to LISTEN to records and jam 
with a band. The jamming I do on my own is without records and a way to find 
out new material for my own songs, and that playful attitude has made me 
more productive the last few years.
I always thought I had stolen a lot from Lloyd, he was (and is) my big 
guitar hero. But my friends keep telling me I sound a lot like Verlaine. 
First it was a surprise to me but I think it's true. I was brought up by MM 
and at that time I didn't know who was playing what.

I love to play guitar but for me the songs are the important thing, and I 
never been much of a namedropper when it comes to guitarists, don't care 
that much. TV/RL are unique and some of the few I can stand to hear play 
long solos.
Other unique and sometimes underrated guitarheroes:
- Ronson, Reed, Young and RT (of course)
- Lofgren (what a waste of talent just playing rhythmguitar
in E Street band. His own style is really unique, isn't it?)
- Moon Martin (mentioned before, heavy guy)
- Rory Gallagher (don't know why I fell for him, not really my style, could 
have been that very old Strat that he made fantastic sounds with.)
