RE: (TV) "CBGB's Great Unknowns"

That's interesting. When I listen to it, I usually
skip over the first 3 heavy hitter songs (Smith, TV
and Hell) and listen to the balance of the cd. The
songs aren't masterpieces, but they are fun and the cd
as a whole is essential because it captures this very
important time and place in rock and roll. The most
interesting story in the liner notes is for the band
which sings the song "Ignorance is Bliss" (the name
escapes me--Nervus Rex?). Their first single was
confiscated by the FBI on a piracy raid. Then, they
broke up soon after the master for their first record
was stolen. somewhere in there is a good screen play.
anyone interested in helping me write it? anyone
know anything more about the band I am referring to?

"If every museum in the New World were emptied, if every
famous building in the Old World were destroyed and only
Venice saved, there would be enough there to fill a full lifetime
with delight. Venice, with all its complexity and variety,
is in itself the greatest surviving work of art." --Evelyn Waugh
