I think the guy is a very good songwriter. He is subtle, dark as well as
hopeful, spiritual, etc.
Listen to the following records:
A Man Under The Influence- his latest
More Miles Than Money- Live stuff, very good
Gravity - Great songs! Love "Broken Bottle"

If you have a chance to see him by all means do. As I said earlier the guy
is subtle and  he will  grow on you.
