I remember seeing some great stuff on late late night TV in the late 70's. 
I had been looking for a film of avant guard people of punk/new wave but I 
have given  up maybe I was dreaming this stuff up.
I remember seeing a Germany guy with sort of a European style clown make up 
who later died of AIDS called Klaus ... anyone remember him? Interesting 
stuff. Lena Lovich doing her usually out there music. The quality was the 
best but it was on TV.
