(TV) The Waterboys - "Some Of My Best Friends Are Trains"

Folks,

Picked up the new reissue of The Waterboys' A PAGAN PLACE, complete with 6
bonus tracks. On the way home from the shop, I hear the song "Some Of My Best
Friends Are Trains" (which wasn't on the original A PAGAN PLACE), and get the
following chorus ...

"When the gang came down here again /
And they're phoning up Australia and they call each other names /
And they all just wanna look like Richard Hell and Tom Verlaine /
Some of my best friends are trains"

And no, I'm not sure what it means to be a train, but hearing the line about
Hell and Tom made me about drive off the road. I really didn't expect a name
check, especially since The Waterboys don't remind me of Television at all!

Oh, and the reissue's a great job. If you're a Waterboys fan, you'll dig it.

you look good ..."
