Downloaded some tracks by The Method Actors, an early-1980s Athens, GA
band - contemporaries of REM, Pylon and the B-52s who broke up before
anything took off. Too bad. They have a slightly NY no-wave kind of sound,
I hear some Ubu thrown in, broken funk, Contortions, with some appealing
'new wave' romanticism to the sound.
