hey on a very positive note one of Australia's greatest bands Radio Birdman
played in Melbourne last night and totally  rocked with killer songs like
'New Race', 'What Gives?', 'Burned My Eye' and great covers of the Masters
Apprentices' 'Hot Gully Wind' and Stooges' 'Down on the Street'  ... a
perfect mix of tension and release.

anyone interested in Australian late 70s/early 80s garage rock should try
and track down the two recent Oz releases 'Do the Pop' (Shock) and 'Born Out
of Time' (Raven) - fantastic compilations.
