(TV) recent purchases

Recently got a great German copy of Destiny Street . What a superb LP . Not
quite as good as Blank gen but not far off . anybody else got this LP , is
yours numbered on the plain inner sleeve ?

Also picked up a nice promo copy of Time . Again , great period stuff .

Listened to the new Flaming Lips album in the shop today and must say , on
first listen it sounded good but isn't really an album to listen to in that
environment , with lots of kids shouting about being off school in the
background . Gonna get me a copy home and don the cans ! :-)

Also picked up the most recent copy of 'Careless Talk Costs Lives' a superb
anti-NME magazine which is run by Everett True and has given itself 12 issues
to destroy the UK weekly music press ( the NME in other words ) ome great
reading in there . very opinionated .
In the current issue ( 9 ) there's a good feature on Richard Hell , which I
will type out next week when I have time . Masses of work on just now :-)

Incidentally , CTCL magazine counts backwards . In other words , the first
issue was No.12 and the current issue is No.9 . Apparently its just gonna fold
when it gets to No.1 !! How kewl is that ?
