Re: (TV) Has anyone listened to Springsteen's latest? Thoughts? (e)

Haven't heard it but the new Uncut mag in the UK ( out today ) rates it 5
stars and says its heavily influenced by 9/11 .
The review was very good , drawing comparisons with his earlier work and how
his viewpoint has changed , in this instance by NYC Sept 2001 .
It goes onto say how in the mid-seventies , Springsteen promoted the
American dream as nothing more complicated than a ride in a convertible ,
but now he explores the failures of the American dream , and why it could
never work .

Not my opinion , but that of the reviewers . It also has a 20 page interview
with Bruce . A great read . Recommended if you can get hold of it .

Also , as a footnote , Keith will be interested to know , next months issue
has a 25 page feature on the real kings of the working class - The Jam !!!

Reserve your copy now mate ! :-)
