(TV) TV in NME

Television have a rare mention in todays New Musical Express !

It's in a news feature announcing the impending release of The Beatles long
lost farout piece ' Carnival of Light' which was vetoed by George for the
Anthology series as it was 'too far out' . Well now that George is out of the
way , good old Paul can forge on with his plans .

Anyway , NME then go on to detail 11 other 'legendary' recordings that remain
officially unissued and they give a value to the original tapes .

Here's the TV bit :
Television : Double Exposure
  Estimated value : #10,000
" Godfathers of the New York scene , Television allegedly recorded demos for
an album with Brian Eno in 1975 . In fact , they started recording an Eno
never turned up . Nonetheless , an albums worth of stuff has been circulating
as a bootleg for years - if the real master tape ever surfaces , expect
fireworks "

Other recordings mentioned include Beach Boys 'Fire' , Pink Floyd 'Scream Thy
Last Scream' and The Stones 'Cocksucker Blues'
