Really OT (except maybe for our discussion of band names, and I did
bring his name up in another post):

Described as "the greatest US judge never to sit on the Supreme Court",
he served 52 years and died in 1961.  He deserves to be more widely
remembered, and we could use a few more like him, especially now.
