There are, of course, many Concert Halls named The Roxy, but I've got to believe Ferry had in mind the meaning of 'roxy' that's in some unabridged dictionaries:
Nope, it's definitely the old British 30s/40s cinema/concert hall that he's referring to - check out the cover and gatefold inner to the first album, the style harks right back to those dayd
