Well, I can only comment on MM as I have yet to get "Adventure". And I am
still really digesting it but here is my take so far...
Great bonus tracks really. I wish there were more. I think I read Keith
state that he could do without Richard's soloing throughout "See No Evil"; I
,otoh, really like it ! I'm not so sure it really adds much to the song ,but
for me that's not the point. To me, it seems like this was a "run through"
for Richard to warm up for the "big" solo. It also is helpful to hear him
rock out so much in that it helps to distinguish his style of playing from
Tom's. I swear I heard a guitar lick that shows up much later on Matthew
Sweet's "Girlfriend".  I also like the alternate cut of "Friction" . So
really amazing cool licks from Verlaine that aren't on the original released
version, and I like the echo effect on his guitar. I can't really comment
yet on the alternate take of "Marquee Moon", but I am enthralled with the
LJJ . I had never heard this version before. It's simultaneously cool and
wacky. The sound of the guitars...they almost sound like toys. Sometimes
they sound almost acoustic.  Well, that's about all I can say for now, got
to save my pennies for "Adventure" and "Waldorf".
