RE: (TV) follow-up to leo (OT) / Oedipus

I hated Mink DeVille--believe they had one radio hit.
They got way more radio play than Television on Boston 
radio in late 1977-78 with the happy exception of a young 
deejay on WBCN named Oedipus who had a late night show called
"Nocturnal Emissions".  This is where I first heard "See No Evil"
(raced to my local record store the next morning and purchased 
my first of many copies of Marquee Moon).

more recently i've picked up some of their
was amazed at how 1) terrible and 2)NOT PUNK these bands were
and they both seemed to play standard,
forgettable rnr.

anyone out there who was there have recollections
about these folks?  any thoughts?

also, looking for the book "1001 nudes of lita ford",
if anyone can help.
