yes, vic still performs.  they spent several months in
europe last year (after what must have been a
difficult u.s. tour -- a bunch of people in a van full
of equipment, playing to very small crowds).

vic (solo) and mark (as the creekdippers) are both
working on albums currently, from what i understand. 
they have a studio at the house.  neither has a label.
 perhaps they will sell them via mail order, as they
have several albums in the past.

vic plays a wild and erratic guitar now (matches her
voice?), along with the wah-wah banjo, keyboards,
mouth harp...some other odd things.  she says the ms
did affect her playing (some loss to her hand that
never came back).  but has apparently been fairly
stable over the past ten years, on regular medication.

vic and mark supplement their income from music by
growing fruit on their desert property, which they
sell at a roadside stand; as well as collecting
interesting rocks and such for sale.  the tour
t-shirts, last time around, were all things purchased
at a thrift store that vic then hand-stamped.  and i
would guess mark should get some royalties from the
jayhawks albums.  but maybe i'm being optimistic about
how much the jayhawks have sold.

all this to say -- see, some folks do it on an even
smaller scale than tom.
