Count me in as a huge Pixies fan. I was in Boston
during their existence. I have mixed feelings about
their reunion tour only because Frank always said no
way.

I saw a Frank Black solo gig during the Pixies era at
Nightstage in Cambridge. There was an old couple there
and I finally asked them if they were his parents.
Turned out they were his girlfriend's parents. They
said they wanted to see what he did for a career to
make sure he was going to be able to provide for their
daughter.
