RE: (TV) The Last Time

Television were certainly booked to play these nights in 1977 - the
Village Voice ads confirm this.
However I was under the impression that these gigs were cancelled - I
thought that Television never played at CBGBs in 1977.
I believe that the Last Time shows were the last CBGBs shows.
There are certainly no known recordings in circulation of Television at
CBGBs in 1977.
(I have seen recordings labelled as 1977 CBGBs shows, but their setlists
clearly show them to be earlier).

The reason why such a big deal is made of Last Time is because it is the
best recording available of "classic period" Television at CBGBs. Their
CBGBs Swan Song if you will.
Also, I think these are the last live recordings before the official
release of Marquee Moon (except the Palladium show which only exists in
lousy quality).
If you ask me, there is no better Television bootleg than the Last Time.

Leo, I would be highly delighted if you could prove me wrong here.

Why is such a big deal made about The Last Time when Television also
played CBGBs in 1977?
