Due to my age (woulda been three in 1974) I have a hard time slotting myself into an alternate-universe history of CB's without massively futzing the dates.  Best I could do is list my dad's band, a folk-country outfit who did a handful of NY shows and was active at the time, as one of the acts that got aced from playing there due to the change of booking policy.  The theoretical irony being that it was growing up around Dad's band that got me interested in music, and who would end up being my favorite band?

Ah, alternate universes.  There's another great one where Tom just played some guitar on the demo I'm working on.  Turned out so good I've erased all my own contributions, leaving the track someone sparse, but way better than it started out!
