(TV) the election and my week with a pro bush coalition in japan..

Hi folks, 

So, I missed the election (voted by absentee). . I missed all of the election 
chat although I was able to read a few posting so far. I think it'll be 
getting a little ugly over here. The English had it right though, how can 59 
million people be so dumb. I was stuck with a group of very pro-Bush, pro-life (some 
operation rescue type) business folk. And man o man was I soooooo out of 
place it wasn't funny. At one point before I thought I'd be lynched the electoral 
college points were at 254 Bush, 252 Kerry and I thought we'd be victorious 
but.....it didn't happen and this isn't a bad dream. I found despite the 
Japanese Prime Minister's support of Bush most if not all of the people I was in 
contact with that were Japanese to be anti-Bush which wasn't too surprising. Then 
after all my day-job business was settled I managed to arrange to have the CD 
Chain store listed below agree to carry my band Joss' new CD "If not for the 
hovering..." which made my mood change considerably after the big defeat. I'm 
not much of a protester but I can certainly see myself in Washington  D.C many 
times in the next 4 years fighting for the rights that'll surely be in line to 
be stripped from us before we can blink an eye.. I'm sure it won't be the 
civil war but we all must be ready to fight for the freedoms the protesters 
before us managed to gain for all.
