I am one and I can do so.  Hardly matters, though; the band did play
on the rest of the debut album.  It was just those singles which were
Monkee-fied, IIRC.

Hell yeah, Crosby's songs with the Byrds included some gems... "Lady
Friend", "Everybody's Been Burned", etc.  But then, there's always
"Mind Gardens"...

And don't even get me started about Gene Clark...
