There is no instrument connection between Hell-Fred Smith-Burke.

Recall that Heylin said that on Clem Burke [the drummer] 1st night with
Blondie, 
Fred told band Blondie he was leaving.

Isn't Clem Burke the drummer, not the bassist? I thought Gary
Valentine was the bassist post-Smith.
