thanks for sharing this, dennis.  and it brings me to
an old question i've thought about.  does this mean
many of these recordings were made with band consent? 
that the bands knew they were being recorded and
didn't mind, or even appreciated it?  (and i know this
doesn't include aspiring taper lou reed.)
