The teenage star of that movie, Zoe Tamerlis/Lund, had a pretty  
amazing afterlife before she burned out in 1999 at 37. She co-wrote  
wrote the Bad Lieutenant script with Abel Ferrara, flirted with  
political radicalism, but never was able to break away from her junk  
habit. Almost the Nico of underground cinema.
