Oooh, I have another one.  Let's say you've got a scratchy disc from which
certain tracks don't rip properly.  On most CD players they at least play
(but not always, sometimes they skip).  On different machines, and different
ripping applications, the tracks "mis-rip" differently.  What's my best
option?

(A) Give up
(B) Keep trying different machines/apps until I get lucky
(C) Try to resurface the disc or something like that in the physical world
(D) Something smarter that I haven't thought of yet

(Not just for Maurice, obviously, I just think it's funny that he's
accidentally become our Mr. Wizard.)
