At the Bowery Ballroom concert, where Tom played with Patti Smith, Dec 30, 2005, the band had taken the stage after a short break. Everybody but Tom had returned; Patti made an excuse saying "Tom is still in the bathroom", so we should be patient. Then Tom strode in, across the stage, and exhaled a huge cloud of smoke, which set everybody off laughing.
