(TV) Any Comments on sonic transmission

Hi Robin,

I heard you were visiting in NYC recently.

What did you think of Sonic Transmission.

I was going to post my reactions to it on the List, but I didn't want to
hurt Tim Mitchell's feelings in case he still peruses the List.

I haven't finished it yet (Tom just leaving a Town Called Walker--er, I mean
Wilmington).

I found it fun to read, but it reminds me a little of Clinton Heylin's
Chapters on Television in his Velvets book in that it is all based on
secondary sources.  But then Tim couldn't get Verlaine to contribute to the
project (shocking :>) ) nor most if not all of Tom's associates or
observers of the 1975-1978 era.

It definitely is written by someone who is a big fan and occasionally a well
written sentence captures the essence of a young Tom and his times.

I'm starting to babble so I'll sign off.
