apparently patti smith will be playing an october
club-closing gig at cb's, to be followed by hilly
packing everything up for vegas. will be curious to
see if tom accompanies her on this gig. am i wrong in
thinking it's been a very long time since they shared
that stage?
having recently seen the club in it's final, sad
stages, i can confidently say the coolest thing about
it was scott simpson.
oddly enough, austin all-ages punk venue emo's is also
planning to open a location in vegas (but keeping the
austin spot). a lot of vegas would probably work well
on the emo's stage (wayne newton would look great
there).
