Re: (TV) First recorded Television moment

The first reference I saw to Television was in 1988 when Rolling Stone ran
one of their "Top 100 Albums" of all-time issues, and there was Marquee
Moon. Verlaine's playing was compared to "such Olympian figures as Neil
Young and Richard Thompson", so I ordered the CD a few months later -- the
first CD I ever bought, by the way; I'd been totally vinyl until then.

I fell in love with Marquee Moon right away; then bought Adventure on CD,
the Blow Up on vinyl, then all the Verlaine solo albums on CD.
