I've got one of these Phil and could never figure out official or not. 
Theres a booklet with mine also which looks 100% genuine, with record co 
logos and reviews etc, so I just dont know
The audio is as good as the LP itself
Who knows?
I think I asked keith at the time but cant recall what he said
