Ha! I would have said that twenty years ago, but now GR would get a run for the title from Gaddis's _The Recognitions_ or _JR_, or Perec's _Life, a User's Manual_ or even Abe's _The Box Man_.

Well, the best novel of all time is obviously Nabokov's "Ada." And the best movie, clearly, would have to be "The Sweet Smell of Success". Or "Touch of Evil." But, yeah, trying to pick the best ever album is just silly.
