First impression: Better than I expected it to be, but not necessarily better than the original. Need more listening time, of course...


Well, that was, um, interesting. Cleaner and more controlled, which is just what you'd want from a Richard Hell and the Voidoids album. His vocals are more subdued. Again, just what you'd want from a Richard Hell album.

Is it my imagination or does he sing Destiny Street as though he thought it was the worst thing he'd ever written? Maybe it's just embarassment over presenting himself as 31 and meeting his 21 year-old self? If he's redoing the vocals, why not change the lyric, since the whole album is his 58 year-old self meeting his 31 year-old self. --------------
