Happy New Year, all. 

The review is a bit lukewarm. Like the reviewer, I started listening to ADVENTURE prior to MARQUEE MOON, and it was the shorter, poppier songs on side 1 that first got my attention. While I won't argue that ADVENTURE is an equal of MM, I think it holds up very well on its own.

Another topic: Tom Verlaine is 60! Amazing.
