Konono No. 1 (whom I've only read about) will also be playing for free in Prospect Park on July 17 as part of Celebrate Brooklyn's African Festival: http://www.bricartsmedia.org/events/performing-arts/african-festival-with-konono-no-1. Not as full a set as you'd get at Le Poisson Rouge, I'd guess - but since the festival is something like 6 or 7 hours long, I could be wrong.
