True (although with Big Star its' 3 + 1, and the +1 is horrible).  Wonder
what shape it would take, though.  It would almost by definition have to
include all three albums in their entirety, but that would still leave
almost 2 1/2 discs (out of 4) for demos, live cuts, etc.  MM and Adventure
have been recently remastered, so nothing new there; 3 is out of print and
due for remastering anyway...

One kind of wonders if what's called for isn't a Verlaine box including all
three LPs in their entirety, with the best of his solo stuff filling in the
gaps (including, one hopes, the entire Bascombe sessions).  An appendix
disc could handle the best of Richard.  However, cross-licensing would
probably make this idea a non-starter... lack of widespread interest might
do the same.
