Re: (TV) television cbgbs atlantic recordings ?



sorry,been out of the loop...what are these CBGB Atlantic recordings? And is
there talk of a boxset?

I'm pretty sure that they still exist as Richard said he wanted to release
them awhile back and asked Tom about them and Tom said No.  So prob Tom has
hold of them.  I would love to hear them.

My copy of "In Space" is still sealed.  I couldn't bring myself to open it.
Didn't want to tarnish my memory of Big Star.  (though I could have just
tried
to treat it like a Chilton solo album)  The Big Star box also has some of the
Chris Bell solo stuff which is pretty great too.

A few years back the Chilton/Stephens/Posies version of Big Star, who were
terrific live, released a new album called "In Space".  Please don't listen
to it... it's bad and sad.  Third is of course terrific.
