I have to second this opinion, Deb. Whenever I want to turn guitar players onto the greatness of Verlaine, this is where I send them. Just a fantastic comp, and one that I visit with regularity.
I useta know the history of this comp, but I've forgotten it in the midst of a summer head cold- can someone please remind me? Whoever you are, my eternal gratitude to you.

I've been listening to this compilation of Tom's live stuff and wanted to say to whoever put this grouping together...Thank You! It really is wonderful to listen to...some really amazing, extended versions of his songs here. And whoever did the cover artwork on this, also thanks, it's great. It must've taken some time to put this all together, but def time well spent.
