think Richard is slightly taller. Fred is definitely taller than me.

In the scheme of things, what I say below is a minor detail, but I find

extremely puzzling. In all the photos that I have ever seen of
Television
(and especially the more famous ones with Richard standing besides and
very
near Tom, Richard and Tom appear to be close in height (just 1 example:

cover of "The Blow-up"). Yet we know for sure that Tom is 6 foot 3
inches.
That would mean Richard's 6 - 7 inches shorter than Tom, which is
impossible. :>)
For those besides Emile who have met Richard (e.g., Howard and Dennis)
how
can this apparent discrepancy be explained?
More: In all the same famous photos of the band where they are all
standing, Fred and Billy Ficca also appear to be very tall (i.e., close
to
Tom's height. How tall are they roughly? If it was just a single photo

could buy the argument that it's just the angle or 'quirk' of the photo.

His hands are not small. His hands are normal for a man of his size.
He is a little taller than me, I think, about 5'8 or 5'9. His hands
are about the size of my hands, I have slightly bigger hands than an
average woman, and I am about 5'7.
I know because I used to take guitar lessons from him, and he would
encourage me by showing me that hand size is unimportant.
