Re: (TV) ... and the soundtrack

"Careful" is one of Television's earliest songs (chronology-wise) to make it
to vinyl, it's catchy & memorable on first listen -- not a bad choice.
Unusual selections all around, though, not just Television. "All By Myself"
for the Heartbreakers instead of "Chinese Rocks" or "Born To Lose"?
"Chatterbox" (a rare Thunders vocal) for the New York Dolls? "Caught With the
Meat In Your Mouth" for the Dead Boys (though they also get "Sonic Reducer" --
odd that this band, of all bands, gets 2 tracks here... and that Joey Ramone
gets a solo track?)

In the end, while I'm sure I'll see the movie, I'll doubt
I'll buy this -- no, not even a re-recorded "Sunday Girl" (why??) or a track
by Hilly Kristal (why??????) would get me on-board for this.

"Careful"? Isn't that --
all other songs considered -- a minor tune in the TV
catalogue?
