I still cringe when I think about this. It may have been funny the first
time I shouted it out, but after a few times the novelty would have worn off
for the people around me. Going to a gig performed by your heroes, and
meeting them afterwards, and being with really great people like Keith
should be a fantastic memory. But alas, being completely drunk and only able
to remember selected highlights still gives me nightmares.
I do remember how great Billy and Fred were, I talked to Billy for some time
about jazz drummers we both liked.
I wonder if my Freebird requests ever made it to a bootleg?

actually, I always thought that one /was/ funny, especially at a TV 
show. Especially when Howard did it.
