I think you are absolutely right on all points.
Obviously I know some things from Richard's POV and he's been criticised 
heavily for speaking out but I agree, as far as I can see he's not the 
one who fucked up Television. And turned it into a money-spinner.

You're right about Call Mr Lee, too.

And yes, of course I'd still go to listen when I could.
