Re: (TV) Lord of the Rings



I actually quite liked the Bakshi film. I didn't want to see it first of all
as I had my own images in my head of the characters/places in the book. But
I think he did a pretty good job. There was no sequel to it(I think they ran
out of money). If anyone has an original video copy of this I am fairly
reliably informed
that it is one of the 2 most sought after videos in the uk. The other one?
Believe it or not........Cheech & Chong's 'Up In Smoke'!!(I used to see
plenty of copies of that around) Anyway the Bakshi video is supposed to be
worth serious money.
I was also pretty pleased when the twisted Mr Jackson was chosen.
