RE: (TV) new patti release

Well, at least Verlaine sounds like Verlaine on "23 Minutes in Brussels"
(although less so playing 12-string on "Moon Palace"), albeit Verlaine 1995,
not 1977. On "Glitter..." on the new PS album, his (practically) eight notes
could be anybody! I disagree with Owen - I wouldn't even know it was TV. 

It's a long way from "Break It Up" on HORSES.

Plus, while the new Patti Smith album is growing on me (I agree with the
generally positive reviews), nothing on it is gonna match "23 Minutes in
Brussels", which is probably among my top ten songs of the 1990s. Uh-oh, I feel
a list coming on...
