I for one would put the clash first album much much higher than London
Calling. I would still listen to The Clash as a whole rather than London
Calling which now sounds very dated to me.

However, London Calling is still a great single - up there with "I fought
the Law", "White Man", "White Riot" etc.

Just thinking about it, if you add together the UK and US versions of The
Clash - it has all the killer tracks (except London Calling) they ever did

I guess The Clash and the Ramones first albums are the only ones which still
make me want to jump up and down.
