Re: (TV) TV Question



I'm positive that his cable like strings are the key
to a lot of his sound.  The 1st string (E) of the
common extra light, light or even medium strings (I
have not even seen strings classified as heavy in
years, mediums are getting darned hard to find also,
then again, I live in a really small town) just do not
sound as full when playing the same notes as Verlaine.
 To play strings gauged that heavy ol' Tom must be
able to crush stones with his bare hands.
