Re: (TV) intro to tv



I was very lucky!!
I first saw Television at CBGBS in the summer of '76.
On that first night they werer awful!! They were out of tune
tune, they were breaking guitar strings and they seemed
really out of it. I continued to see  them through '77
 and '78. They kept getting better and better. I fell in love
with their sound. By that time I was hooked on them.
In the fall of '78 I moved to San Francisco. I saw Ver-
laine on his solo tour; I think it was '82.
I was lucky to see them on the reunion tour. They played
for two nights at the Great American Music Hall. They
were on fire! I did take my twelve year old son. I
believe they have always had a profound influence on
him. Even know that he is on his own we still talk
about that show and I know he loves them.
