RE: (TV) Wasn't joking/Verlaine's album of covers/Hunka

Philip,

I think the concept of Verlaine singing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" is quite hilarious. Maybe he could release an entire album of just cover songs that he liked: the above one on "..Santa..", "Wake Me, Shake Me, When It's Over", "Mercy Mercy" by Don Covay, a song by The Meters, "Moon River" by Mancini, and an instrumental of Percy Faith's "Theme from a Summer Place".

Seriously, I saw him a couple of times in the 1980's perform a cover of Elvis Presley's "You're A Hunk (Hunka Hunk Hunka) of Burning Love" during an encore.

Leo!

I knew you weren't kidding... I just really really like the idea of Tom
Verlaine singing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus". Imagine this in your head.
It's pretty damn funny. No, really. Honest.

Of course, if there is a 'lost' 10th track for his debut, I REALLY want to know
what it is!
